Recalling Days of Struggle
Reflecting on his days of struggle, Munawwar vividly recalls, “I was merely 14 when I lost my mother and merely 10 days later was my birthday. With my mother gone, my aunt suggested there was no point staying there, so she brought my father and me to Mumbai. I found work at a utensil shop in Bhendi Bazaar, earning a mere 60 rupees back then, but it brought me immense joy.”
Marriage and Personal Turmoil
Upon being asked about his marriage, Munawwar revealed, “It was arranged by my family.” However, he expressed reluctance to delve deeper, hinting at undisclosed difficulties. “Just a year after the wedding, my son was born, and currently, he resides solely with me.”
Insights into Former Marriage
Regarding his married life, Munawwar disclosed, “She had already remarried, and I was unaware of it. I only got to know about it 10-15 days later when I called her home, and her father informed me that she had remarried and moved to another city.” When questioned about any emotional attachment to their child, Munawwar revealed, “She feels no connection or emotions towards our child.”
