A caddish cable guy sent explicit photos of his ex-girlfriend to his new flame in a bizarre case of revenge porn at the Optimum office where all three worked – and the jilted woman was demoted after alerting supervisors, according to a shocking lawsuit.
Bronx customer service rep Chrismelle Castillo claimed Jesus Reyes “circulat[ed] naked and intimate photos of her” to new gal pal Cristaly Cruz after the former lovers’ two-year relationship ended in 2020, according to Castillo’s suit filed last week against Optimum parent Altice.
Reyes had allegedly begun wooing Cruz while still dating Castillo and the three continued to work at the Bronx office for Optimum — previously known as Cablevision and owned by James Dolan before the Knicks owner sold the company to the European telecom conglomerate for $17.7 billion in 2016.
The harmony was short-lived.
On Sep. 23, 2021, Cruz “texted [Castillo] nude pictures of [Castillo] and pictures of [Castillo] performing sex acts on Reyes that Reyes took and stored on his cellphone,” it was alleged in court papers.
Castillo lodged a harassment complaint to a supervisor but the company official “refused to assist” and instead “referred [Castillo] to her direct supervisor,” according to the court filing.
“Since you’re working from home, this is considered a private matter,” company officials were alleged to have told her, the court filing said.
The company then rejected her transfer request to “get away from the harassment and retaliation” from Cruz, and even cut her pay, according to the lawsuit.
She alleged that the company “concocted a pretextual scheme to discipline” her over her failure to request time off to care for her ailing son in 2019.
Instead of using the “request and code” system to ask for leave, Castillo “emailed her manager,” which the company flagged as improper, according to the court filling.
In November 2021, the company allegedly placed Castillo on a “corrective action plan” in order to “set [her] up for termination or hoping she would quit in retaliation for lodging a sexual harassment complaint,” according to court papers.
Altice then demoted Castillo, which resulted in “significant decrease to [her] income,” according to the court filing.
The Post has sought comment from Castillo, who remains employed by Altice.
It is unclear whether Reyes or Cruz still work for the company. The pair could not be reached for comment.
Altice refuted Castillo’s allegations when contacted by The Post on Wednesday.
“This lawsuit is based on an extraordinary number of false allegations against the Company, which we investigated when brought to our attention, and we will defend against it,” an Altice rep said.
Castillo and Reyes split up in December 2020 after “two years of a tumultuous and abusive relationship,” according to the court filing.
She claims Reyes and Cruz targeted her after accusing Castillo of “starting false rumors that Cruz” had “misused” leave time from the company.
During that time, Reyes is alleged to have “began a campaign of harassment and hostility” toward her that “ultimately resulted in her demotion and left [her] degraded, victimized, embarrassed, and emotionally distressed.”
Castillo alleged that “Reyes and Cruz unlawfully disseminated” the racy photos, though Castillo “stated that she was unsure who else had received these pictures and feared the widespread dissemination could affect her career and reputation,” it was alleged.
