What is Depression ?
Depression is a disease of mental disorder when any person lost interest in daily routine, hopeless, feeling negativity and sadness etc. Normally it happens due to sudden change in life or any painful incident occurs suddenly, environmental change, combination of genetic, psychological factors and many more so it will cause directly to the brain or mind of that person and slowly the person will entering into mode of depression.
What are the symptoms of depression ?
The common symptoms of depression is that suddenly the person will get over aggressive, mood swings, anxiety, guilt, hopelessness, loss of interest in daily routine work, sadness, sleeping disorder ( excessive or sometimes no sleep at night ), sexually problem, fatigue, headache, lack of concentration, feeling or thoughts of suicide, over thinking, body weight disorder ( loss or gain ) etc.. Usually these are the major symptoms of depression but might be possible the person behaviour is same like childhood so before going to personal perception you should be 100% assure themselves either that person is depression patient or not.
Is Depression A Mental Disease ?
No, not at all Depression is a disease of mental disorder suddenness change of life or due to severe incident may cause depression but the person should not be called as mental patient or mental disease, it is normal any one in the World can become depression it doesn’t means he is mentally ill or mental patient. After an accurate and genuine treatment the depression patient will be totally fine. But yes excessive depression can cause later into severe mental disorder or mentally ill.

Everyone knows what is going on in present modern era, due to Covid19 pandemic a major or adverse effect had been happened in our daily routine life. Whole World is suffering from this disease and for the safety reason World Health Organization ( WHO ) introduced lockdown procedure to reduce the rate of Covid 19 patients, in this process each country had been go through Lockdown and citizens of that country remained at home for the safety reasons. With an effect of this lockdown, slowly citizens of India feels depressed with no roaming outside and no outdoor activities they started feeling little kind of depression. Normally this fully lockdown period is of 3 months only but still partial lockdown is continue in mostly regions of India. Depression due to lockdown in India is a common problem everyone feel this because when you sit in an one place without job or with no daily routine work you might be starts feeling some kind of depression no matter what occupation you are working either government sector or private or busines without physical work the person is empty and hopeless. Daily same routine no outside work or enjoyment, shops, malls and market was closed, clubs and restaurants were closed, no transportation was there, the roads were fully empty so watching these scenario you might feel negativity or soon it become depression. So in 2020 the depression due to lockdown is a most common or an adverse effect Indian citizens faced in this pandemic.

The signs of depression in lockdown is like loneliness, sadness, suicide, irregular sleep, eagerly waiting for outside trip, home quarantine, headache, fatigue, excessive use of mobile, negative vibes, over thinking etc. These are the vital signs of depression in lockdown, government of India thought doing lockdown the virus will be decreased but unfortunately citizens of India became depressed and started feeling negativity. According to reports mostly youngsters feels the signs of depression in lockdown due to fully packed themselves at home and unable to gp outside apart from youngsters few children’s also felt depressed and many cases were reportedly in police stations and human child welfare association about child abuse, excessive aggressiveness of children’s etc.

Due to lockdown depression is the most common problem faced by Indians alot, According to Government reports out of 130 crores citizens of India around 35-42 % people’s faced
depression in lockdown. Mostly in these percentage the children’s and youngsters faced
depression in lockdown alot. These are the government statistics which is being published
publicly during depression in lockdown but talking about those cases which doesn’t reported publicly is around 10-15% more. Normally it is just a numbers presently the statistics of depression in lockdown is totally worst and still India is facing this problems alot, usually Indians are very strong but when you faced a certain lockdown and become home quarantine then it is more adverse effects and these statistics may also vary every day during depression in lockdown.

● Depression patients can do Yoga minimum 30 minutes morning and 30 minutes evening.
● Talk with your friends share your feelings express yourself as much as you can.
● If you don’t have friends talk to your family especially parents. See few youngsters or
children’s didn’t speak freely with their parents unable to share their feelings freely but here the topic is serious you should at any how you must speak with your parents and share your depression feelings with them.
● Consult with Psychiatrist or your family doctor so that they will examine you and starts your medicines as much as they can.
● Timely take you medicine, do your therapy sessions, again do yoga or exercises.
● Depression patients must do positive things such as listen music, watch movies, dance ( it relax your nervous system ), play some useful indoor or outdoor games, go out for shopping, talk to yourself make your future goals, read some story books, always spend your useful time with a worship of God by doing this your negative energy would be finished, play with your pet animal’s if you don’t have buy it afterall animal’s are always the pure soul etc..

important if your friend, relatives, husband or wife is facing depression problem then you need to be very careful if you want to do genuine help someone with depression in lockdown, so these are some vital points such as Be polite with that patient, No shouting or fighting with the depression patient, try to listen him / her carefully, always be supportive don’t ever to feel with him or her alone, try to make them happy, always be careful that depression pateint should take their medicines on time and do their therapy sessions correctly, try to keep them happy, make sure tge surroundings are well cleaned or arranged etc. So these are the points to remember before help someone with depression in lockdown. Anxiety is an excessive or intense care and starts sudden fear about everyday situations with due to this your pulse rate, blood pressure and heart beat will rapidly increase may cause you anxiety attack, whereas on other hand Depression is a disease of negative feeling, a person become hopeless, psychological factors with all this a person mind cannot able to think or unable to take any decision is called as depression. In both cases the treatment is almost same but the conditions may differ so you must be aware about the symptoms of both diseases.
